STIPENDS

February 7, 2008

BIA Studend Stipends are issued at the Student Billing Office. Voc Ed stipends are issued at the Voc Ed Department. Study Skill retention checks are issued from Georgia Bordeaux.

FYI, Stipends will usaully be issued on the first Thursday of the month. At ease.

InfoMaker training 10 and 11 June

Biagio Arobba will be conducting InfoMaker training Tuesday 10 June and Wednesday 11 June in 205 Tech. Anyone interested in increasing database query and report writing is encouraged to attend. Here is a brief description of the training:

*First session (4 hours)
*"InfoMaker review and guided practice (please bring questions)"

1. Group discussion about the types of data that the respective
departments would like to query, and the InfoMaker reports that are
important for each department;
2. Handout the diagram of SELECT operations, and explain the meaning;

Summer Late Registration

Friday 30 May is the last day for late registration for the June session. Students may register next week for the July session by instructor approval only. Drop/Add for both summer sessions is Wednesday, June 4. Class lists for both sessions will be distributed on Monday, June 2. If you have any questions please call te registrar's office.

Graduate research assistant position

Montana State University-Bozeman, Land Resources and Environmental Sciences Department, has a position open for a Graduate Research Assistant, working in MSU's Spatial Sciences Center. Research will focus on using remote sensing to analyze changes in culturally important land cover types on tribal lands. The position begins fall 2008 and includes a stipend of $18,000 per year as well as tuition and fees. Contact Rick Lawrence.
