The purpose of this website is to highlight federal government agency websites that serve American Indians or focus on American Indian issues, such as the Indian Health Service and the Bureau of Indian Affairs; or have significant American Indian content in them, such as the CDC and the Minerals Management Service.
Each entry is now accompanied by a description, and where needed, user notes. Since our primary customers for this website are our nation's tribal libraries and tribal college libraries, you will also find entries that don't include specific tribal information but are important for tribes, such as SAMSA and the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
